Plastic Cement Weld Glue Perspex Acrylic Hobby Crafts D.I.Y 250 ml Styrene ABS
Carbusonic Plastic Melt weld cement plastic glue 250 ml for Perspex, Acrylic, Polystyrene, A.B.S., Nylon.
Suitable for hobby enthusiasts, crafts, D.I.Y, Model trains, Radio controlled cars, boats and planes.
Sticks rapidly by welding both parts into a fused joint.
Works best with tight fitting  butt joints using a capillary action.
Pre soften harder plastics first with a prime coat of glue when attaching to a softer compound.
Massive 250 ml lasts ages store in a cool dry place.
Use in well ventilated area only.
Keep out of reach of children.
Keep away from naked flames.
Wear gloves.
Also removes ink and cleans rubber.
Known to experienced maodel makers as plastic welding, this solvent based adhesive sticks all normal model making plastics, i.e. perspex, ABS, polystyrene,
Acrylic etc. It has a long shelf life, is fast acting (grabs in seconds) and has a water like consistency so is best used by holding or clamping the surfaces together and running a loaded brush or applicator along the length of the joint.
(solvent will be drawn into the joint by capillary action).
A second application can be made if required, but is not normally necessary.
When jointing different substrates eg. styrene to butyrate, the hardest material ( in this case butyrate ) should have the joint surface softened, by giving a prime coat first,
prior to holding the surfaces together. Then proceed as normal.
